Ugba -African Oil Bean Seed

Ugba is the Igbo name for the fermented African Oilbean seeds.
It grows majorly in the Eastern region of Nigeria.
It's botanical name is Pentaclethra macrophylla.
It is a traditional food condiment generally produced by natural fermentation.
It is an important source of protein for people whose staple foods are lacking in proteins.
It is also eaten as a delicacy in African Salad, Isi Ewu and used as flavouring for soup.
